I believe the best outcomes come from taking the time to properly understand your business, your people and the challenges you're facing.

That's why I generally work on a day-rate or retainer basis rather than charging by the hour. It gives us the opportunity to work through what matters, ask questions and find practical solutions without constantly watching the clock.

For larger or clearly defined pieces of work, project-based pricing may be more appropriate.
